Team Member Types
By categorizing team member types, you can apply coupons, discounts, specific paperwork, and other options based on the participant's role on the mission trip. Every event requires at least one team member type.
In Go Method, team members are participants. However, there can be different types of team members.
For example, you're planning a mission trip to Haiti and you need to recruit a certain number of doctors, nurses, and dentists. In this case, you'd create "Doctor", "Nurse", and "Dentist" team member types. You'll assign specific applications, discounts, coupons, or options to these types. When you open registration for the mission trip, applicants select their role, and complete the application for that type. You can also set a cap on the number of participants per type, which is useful when you need to recruit a specific number of people for each role.
- Discounts
Optional: Discounts are automatically applied to applicants based on the member type selected at registration. Discounts can be limited by date range, if you choose. Consider date-based pricing when planning discounts and coupon codes.
- Coupon Codes
- Optional: Trip members can optionally enter coupon codes when registering. They can also be limited to specific member types. Coupon codes can be limited by a date range. Consider date-based pricing when planning discounts and coupon codes.
- Allow Group owners to act as leaders for their group
- When selected, a group owner may hold a leader role.
- Reserved Seats
- The Reserve Seats feature allows administrators and seat owners to purchase, grant, assign, and manage seats for mission trip participants before all team members are confirmed.
