View and Resolve Conflicts in Gather
You can view and resolve space and resource conflicts.
- You must be an administrator or user with the Manage Events or Approve Events permissions.
Note: After you save changes to an event to resolve a conflict, you will need to refresh the event details page to see these changes applied.
- Click Calendar in the main menu.
- Click the event's name on the events list. You can search for an event by a specific date from the date drop-down menu. You can also filter the events list by spaces, locations, resources, event category, and status.
- If the event has a conflict, a warning will display at the top of the event detail page. You can view more information about the conflict in the spaces or resources section.
- To resolve the conflict, click
and select Edit. Depending on the type of conflict you can:
- Change the event's time.
- Change the event's space.
- Lower the quantity of the requested resource, or change the requested resource.
- Click Save Event to apply the changes.
