Taking Group Attendance
Mark attendance for your group by recording who attended or entering a head count, and use attendance patterns to plan future events and care for people. Use attendance profiles to manage multiple groups, print attendance marking sheets if you prefer paper, and review individual attendance history when needed.
As a group leader, you may be asked to mark attendance. Understanding attendance patterns helps your leadership plan future events and ministries, and it helps them spot people who may need follow-up or care during a difficult season.
You can mark attendance for an event starting four hours before it begins, and for past events at any time.
- Attendance profiles — If you lead more than one group, ask your administrator to set up an attendance profile covering all of them. You can then mark one group at a time without opening each group's event list.
- Printed marking sheets — You can take roll on paper first and enter it later. Sheets print as a PDF for a group's whole month of events, and anything already marked prints pre-marked. To print, on the Participant's tab, click the printer icon>Attendance Marking Sheet. If you're marking attendance for multiple groups and have an attendance profile, your admin can print attendance sheets for multiple groups.
- One person's history — On your group's roster, hover over
next to someone's attendance percentage to see a snapshot of their attendance.
