Inbox
Your Inbox collects the messages your group and team leaders send you, so you can find them in one place.
When a leader sends a message to your group or serving team, it arrives in your Inbox. Everything your groups and teams send you collects there, so you can go back and find a message later even if you've cleared it from somewhere else.
Messages Also Go to Your Email
The Inbox doesn't replace email. Every message sent to you also goes to the email address on your profile, so you'll see it whether or not you open the app.
If a message never reaches your email, check that your profile has a current email address and that your notifications are turned on. You may also need to check your junk or spam folder.
Texts Are Different
Text messages go to your mobile device, not to your Inbox. The one exception is length: if a text is too long to send in full, it still arrives on your phone but includes a link to read the whole message in your Inbox. See Communication By Text .
Choosing How You're Notified
You decide how each group tells you about new messages — an email or text for every one, or nothing at all, so you only see them when you open the Inbox. You can set this separately for each group you belong to. See Manage Notification Settings.
