The issue arises due to the incorrect file association of Form 3553 and the NCOA Report files. They are not associated with a PDF reader, which is required for them to print correctly in CASS It!.

  1. On the Windows desktop, click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the screen. The Start screen displays.
  2. Click the arrow button . The Apps view displays.
  3. Click Cass It.
  4. Click Configure CASS It!.
  5. Write down the path under the heading Select a location to store CASS files for Uploading and Downloading, and click OK.
  6. If you have not already done so, upload and download your CASS file.
  7. Open the location listed under the heading Select a location to store CASS files for Uploading and Downloading and Form 3553 file (this is your sitenumber_ACSUsername(yyyy-MM-d) _(time), not the XML file).
  8. Open this file in the PDF format. If it opens correctly, close this file
  9. Right-click on this file and select Properties.
  10. Under Open with, change the file type to PDF. If this does not work, change the file type to Internet Explorer.
  11. Click Apply, then OK.
  12. Open CASS It! and select USPS Form 3553.
