Cannot Locate Fund Number 0

When posting contributions, this error displays.

All of the gifts on the Proof List have a fund number. Cannot locate Fund number 0.

  • Products affected: Contributions

  • Versions affected: For versions 10.6 and below.

This error occurs because one of the funds was blank after editing a gift. To resolve it, add a fund code to the gift.

  1. Under Manage Record, click the Contributions tab.
  2. In the drop-down list, select Enter/Post Contributions and click Go.
  3. Click Add/Edit Transactions.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Locate the gift that does not have a Fund Code.
  6. Edit this gift to add a Fund Code to it.

For versions 11.0 and above:

  1. Under Manage Records, click the Contributions tab.
  2. In the drop-down list, select Enter/Post Contributions and click Go.
  3. Select the correct batch, then click Add/Edit Transactions
  4. Click Edit
  5. Locate the gift that does not have a Fund Code.
  6. Edit this gift to add a Fund Code to it.
