How gifts are reflected on Charitable Contributions Reports
- Regular Entry — These entries display on the Charitable Contributions Report.
- Gift with Description — These entries display on the Charitable Contributions Report
- Gifts for Item of Value — These entries display on the Charitable Contributions Report. The difference between the total gift and the value of service prints in the charitable amount column on the Charitable Contributions Report. For example, if the total gift is for $200.00, and the value of service is $5.00, the difference that prints in the charitable amount column is $195.00. The description also prints on the Charitable Contributions Report.
- Non-Cash Gifts — If non-cash gifts are posted with a zero dollar amount value, the entry with a description prints on the Charitable Contributions Report as Property (P). If posted with a dollar value to apply against a pledge, the entry prints on the Charitable Contributions Report as a zero dollar amount.
- Non-Deductible — These entries do not display on the Charitable Contributions Report.
