State Tax Changes
We've updated state tax tables for Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Ohio, Utah, and Virginia.
Emailing from ACS using Gmail
If you use a Gmail account to send emails from ACS, you must set up an App Password with Google.
This security feature, which is required by Google, ensures that your Gmail account is used safely. App Passwords do not expire on a regular basis, but if you change your Google password, you must set up a new App Password at that time.
We have a help topic with steps on setting up an app password, so you can get to the steps you need, when you need them.
SpeedCheck Installation Files Now Available
You can now download the SpeedCheck drivers and installation files on the Client Portal.

New Check Scanner
The MagTek® MICRSafe™ Encrypting Check Scanner 22551002 is now compatible with Accounts Receivable Contributions. This is a single-feed MICR reader with encryption.
This scanner works with Realm as well.
Iowa Withholding Formula and IA W-4
Employees in Iowa must file an updated Iowa W-4 form for 2024.
Employers who haven't received an employee's updated form may temporarily enter $40 as the total allowance amount and $0 as the additional withholding amount.
If an employee provided a W-4 form before 2024, you may continue to compute withholding based on the most recent form. If you do this, multiply the number of allowances claimed on Line 6 of the W-4 by $40 to determine the amount of allowances. For example, if an employee claimed three total allowances on a 2023 Iowa W-4,you should enter $120 for total allowances (3 x $40).
We've added these fields in Payroll, so you can enter this information on the employee's Taxes tab.
