Access Denied to Table or Backup File GLTmpChk

This troubleshooting article addresses why a client may have trouble printing checks

When trying to print checks, this error displays:

Dbisam Engine Error # 11013 Access denied to table or backup file ‘GLTmpChk’

GLTmpcheck is a temporary table that is created in the user directory for check printing. This table should be deleted once the checks are printed.

  1. Try having a different ACS user print the checks. If that ACS user also receives the error, clear their ini file.
  2. If other ACS users within the church do not receive this error, delete the ACS user who is receiving the error and add them back.
