Error 11047 - Shared System Tables

When closing the month in Accounts Payable, the following error displays:

11047 unknown internal system error File X:\acsnet\acsfdat\data1\awglbank. Could not open system shared tables.

  • Versions affected: Multiple Versions

This error occurs when DBISam detects a general operating system error, indicated by the error code in the error message, but cannot translate it into a more specific error message. DBISam identified and translates certain operating system errors such as sharing violations, file and directory not found errors, etc. into specific error messages.

To resolve this, restart your workstation, clear user directories, then delete .net and .lck files.

  1. Click Clear User Directories.
  2. When the confirmation message displays, click Yes.
  3. Select the desired user name, then click Remove All Listed Files.
  4. Click Exit.
  5. Click Delete .Net and .Lck Files.
  6. Click Search, then Delete.
  7. When the confirmation message displays, click Yes.
  8. Click Close.
