Could Not Update Check Printed Flag

After answering Yes to the confirmation message, "Did the checks print correctly?", this error displays:

Could not update check printed flag.

  • Products affected: Accounts Payable

  • Versions affected: Any

To resolve this error, reset the posting lock, reset the check lock, and mark the checks as printed.

  1. Under Advanced Tools, click the Admin Utilities tab.
  2. In the drop-down list, select Maintenance Utilities and click Go.
  3. Select Rest Posting Lock.
  4. When the confirmation message displays, click Yes.
  5. Click OK, then Close.
  6. Under Advanced Tools, click the Admin Utilities tab.
  7. In the drop-down list, select Maintenance Utilities and click Go.
  8. Click Reset Check Lock.
  9. When the confirmation message displays, click Yes, then OK.
