Facility Scheduler

Unable to print 11 X 17 calendars

This troubleshooting guide addresses issues with printing the ACS Facility Scheduler calendar on 11 X 17 paper, including steps to select the correct printer and paper size.

I cannot print the ACS Facility Scheduler calendar on an 11 X 17 sheet of paper.

  • Products affected: ACS Facility Scheduler

  • Versions affected: Multiple Versions

This occurs when the .NET framework uses the default Windows printer. To resolve this issue, select the printer with the larger sized paper.

  1. In the Calendar, click Print.
  2. On the Paper tab, under Type, select the larger sized paper. In this example, select 8.5 x 14 because Facility Scheduler does not have 11 x 17 installed on the printer.
  3. Click Print Preview.
  4. Click the printer icon.
  5. Under Select Printer, select the printer that has the larger sized paper. The printer you select must be the Windows default, if not it will print on 8.5 x 11 paper. If the selected printer has the larger sized paper and is the Windows default printer, click Preferences to verify the paper size. If the selected printer is not the Windows default, change this printer to the default printer in Windows.
  6. Verify the paper size under Paper/Output. If it is incorrect, change it to the correct size.
  7. Click OK, then Print.
