Export a Query for Google Calendar

You can export a customized query to a .CSV file and import into Google Calendar.

Google calendar requires very specific column headers to properly import your data. You must export only certain columns and then edit header names in your .CSV file before attempting to import to Google Calendar.
Note: Google Calendar requires CSV files to have at least the Subject and Start Date columns.
  1. On the Reports tab, click Advanced Queries.
  2. In the Actions group, click Advanced Queries.
  3. Create a new query or select a saved query.
  4. In the Actions group, click Run.
  5. Remove columns, such as Registration, that are not supported in Google Calendar. Examples of supported columns are: Event Name, Start Date, Stop Date, Start Time, Stop Time, and Description.
  6. To create the CSV file, click Export To and select CSV File.
  7. Save the file to your computer.
  8. Locate the CSV file on your computer and double-click it to open it in Excel.

  10. Save the changes to your CSV file and import it into your Google Calendar.
