Review Employees' W-2s

Review and confirm that all of your employees' W-2 information is correct.

You must have accounting administrator permissions to perform this task.
  1. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then Accounting. Then click Period End > Tax Forms.
  2. On the Tax Forms tab, select the reporting year.
  3. Click Review Data beside W-2.
  4. Review your employees' total annual wages and withholdings, and confirm that it is correct.
  5. Review your overall total for Form W-3, and also confirm that it is correct.
  6. If your totals are correct, click Done.

Enter Locality Names

Enter the short name of each location in which your local taxes are withheld.

You must have accounting administrator permissions to perform this task.
  1. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then Accounting. Then click Period End > Tax Forms.
  2. On the Tax Forms tab, select the reporting year.
  3. Click Review Data beside W-2.
  4. Click Locality Names.
  5. In 10 characters or less, enter the names of the locations in which your local taxes are withheld.
  6. Click Save.

Print a W-2 Totals List

Print a list of your employees' W-2 totals.

You must have accounting administrator permissions to perform this task.
  1. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then Accounting. Then click Period End > Tax Forms.
  2. On the Tax Forms tab, click Review Data beside W-2.
  3. Click the printer icon. A preview of your report displays.
  4. Click the printer icon for a physical copy or Download for a PDF.

Adjust an Employee's W-2 Totals

Adjust an employee's total annual wages, adjustments, or withholdings.

You must have accounting administrator permissions to perform this task.
  1. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then Accounting. Then click Period End > Tax Forms.
  2. On the Tax Forms tab, click Review Data beside W-2.
  3. Click the ellipsis icon beside an employee's totals, and select Adjust W-2 Totals. This opens a new tab in your browser.
  4. Make any necessary changes, then click Save.
  5. Return to the Review Employee Totals page, and click Refresh Data to reflect your adjustments.
