Merge Profiles

Delete Contact Link

Delete if a profile's contact link doesn't match one in MinistryPlatform.

If you attempt to merge duplicate profiles that have a Contact ID associated with them, you receive an error. This deletes a profile's contact link if one does not exist in MinistryPlatform. When you delete the unmatched contact link, you can merge your profiles.
  1. Locate and open the record you want to update.
  2. On the Info tab, click Delete contact link.
    The Contact ID is deleted.
Merge the profile without a Contact ID into the duplicate profile that has one.
