Refund a Pending Payment

If a payment is pending but not processed, you can void it before it goes through.

  1. In the top-left corner, click your site name then Giving. Then click Payments.
  2. On the Payments tab, click Pending.
  3. Click the ellipsis icon on the same row as a payment and select Issue Refund.
  4. Enter a reason for the void/refund.
  5. Click Issue Refund.
You can view the transaction on the Voids tab. The payment will not be processed.

Refund a Processed Payment

If a payment has been processed, you can issue a full refund.

  1. In the top-left corner, click your site name then Giving. Then click Payments.
  2. On the Payments tab, click Processed.
  3. Click the ellipsis icon on the same row as a payment and select Issue Refund.
  4. Enter a reason for the refund.
  5. Click Issue Refund.
You can view the refunded payment on the Refunds tab. The full payment is refunded to the original payment method.
