Five Steps to Grow Your Online Giving

Internal Adoption
- Get buy-in from staff to drive alignment and enthusiasm.
- Familiarize your team with the giving flow, including how to access reports in the Vanco Giving Admin Portal () and Classic MyVanco ().
Tip: Where the head goes, the body follows—strong support from leadership sets the tone for success.
Get Your Giving Link Online
- Add your giving link to your website's top navigation bar (for example, alongside Home or About Us) as a clear Give tab that links directly to your Vanco Giving page.
- Update social media profiles with the new link and replace any old giving links.

Migrate Online Recurring Givers (If Applicable)
- Notify existing recurring donors about the transition to Vanco Giving.
- Send an email from your lead or executive pastor's email address, including a brief video explaining the change and instructions to update their recurring gifts.

Highlighted Giving Moment in Church
- Create a dedicated giving moment in every service to introduce Vanco Giving as your primary online giving platform. Statistics show the average church member attends 1.7 times per month, making this moment critical.
- Share why giving matters using Scripture or stories of impact.
- Display QR codes on service slides, pew cards, or bulletins to link to your giving page.
Clear Launch to Community
- Announce Vanco Giving to your congregation through a gratitude-focused email (not a fundraising ask) and a clear in-service announcement.
- Include your giving link and QR codes in the announcement to make giving accessible.
