Post Sacrament Dates

You can post sacrament dates (such as baptism, first communion, or marriage) to multiple student records. These display in the individual's Sacraments window.
CAUTION: If members have information entered for sacrament dates, this quick posting can overwrite it. Make sure to select whether to keep existing information.
  1. On the Information tab, click Students > Quick Posting > Sacrament Dates.
  2. Select whether to use automatic updating or individual entry.
  3. Select whether to keep existing sacramental information that's entered on the record. If you clear this option, existing information will be overwritten.
  4. Click Next.
  5. If you selected automatic updating:
    1. If you included fund selections, select the funds to use to filter the list, then click Next.
    2. Make selections to build your list of records to process, then click Next.
    3. Enter the sacrament date information. If you use sacramental registers, enter the numbering information. Click Next.
      Tip: If you enter the number of entries per page and select Start Every Page with Entry Number 1, the entries are automatically numbered for you.
  6. If you selected individual entry:
    1. Enter the sacrament date information. If you use sacramental registers, enter the numbering information. Click Next.
      Tip: If you enter the number of entries per page and select Start Every Page with Entry Number 1, the entries are automatically numbered for you.
    2. Select an individual, and click Add Student to List.
    3. Repeat this for each record you want to process. When you're finished, click Next.
  7. Review your list. If needed, add or edit any sacrament information. When you're ready to post to the selected records, click Next.
  8. To post, click Finish.
