Corrected Census 2020 Other Race (Non-Hispanic) Data

The Census 2020 Other Race (Non-Hispanic) variable now includes people who identified as American Indian and Alaska Native alone, who were previously left out of its total. Reports, studies, and thematic maps that use this variable now show the corrected values at every geography level, including block groups, tracts, counties, states, and ZIP Codes. Totals for this variable increase nationwide, with the largest changes in areas with sizable American Indian and Alaska Native populations.
