Add an Incident Type

In Define List, you can add medical incident types.

To add incident types or track medical incidents, you must have the security option enabled in User Administration > Profile.

Incident types let you filter on a specific incident in the Medical Incidents report.

When you add medical incidents for individuals, you can select the incident type. Some incident types are predefined, but you can add others if necessary or change the predefined types to fit your needs.
  1. Under Other, click Define List.
  2. Under Available Fields, select Individual, then Incident Type.
  3. When the list of medical incident types displays, click Add.
  4. Enter the new medical incident type, then click OK.
