Create Custom Fields for Trip Setup

admins can create custom fields to collect important participant information during the trip setup process.

  • You must be a Go Method admin to do this.
Custom fields help you organize logistics, communcation expectations, or manage special needs. For example, if you want to guage physical readiness for a trip, you might ask: "What activity level are you most comfotable with?"

Options might include:

  • Low (mostly sitting/standing)

  • Medium (walking for extended periods)
  • High (hiking or strenuous activity)
  1. In the top menu, click Events > Custom Fields .
  2. Click New Custom Field.
  3. Enter a custom Field Name (e.g., "T-Shirt Size).
  4. Select a Field Type (short answer, paragraph, date, multiple choice, etc.).
  5. Optional: (Optional) For multi-choice or single-choice, enter your desired answer options. By default, these choices are set to active. You can return to mark a choice "Inactive" if something changes.
  6. Click Save.

Now that you've set up custom fields, you'll be able to add these to your applications and report on this data.
