Stock and Cryptocurrency
Learn more about how to set up Engiven to receive stock and cryptocurrency gifts through your giving forms.
We've partnered with Engiven to expand the avenues through which your contributors give. When you integrate, you can select stock and/or cryptocurrency ("crypto") options for your online giving forms and assign which payment type displays as the default for your contributors.
Engiven ensures data security for your contributors and handles any crypto conversions on their end. So, if an individual wants to give $50, the crypto they select updates in real time to show how much of it will go toward your ministry. As an administrator or user with the permissions to view gifts, you'll always see the dollar amount in your tables and reports.
Though you use online giving forms to receive stock and crypto gifts, any you receive will display in the Manual tab of the Contributions page. This is because you must post these gifts yourself. You also need to set up a merchant account before you can enable Engiven.
Engiven requires a 4% processing fee from each stock and crypto gift at the time it's exchanged or sold.
Enable Engiven Integration
Enable your integration with Engiven to start accepting stock and cryptocurrency gifts.

- Set up a merchant account with our trusted partner Vanco.
- In the top-left corner, click your site name then Realm. Then click .
- In the Engiven section, click Learn More.
- Read more about the stock and cryptocurrency options that will soon be available to you as well as what Engiven provides.
- Click Next Step: Enable Integration.
- Complete all empty fields, and review the fields that were prepopulated to make sure they're correct.
- Read Engiven Foundation's terms of service, and acknowledge it.
- Click Enable Integration.
Disable Engiven Integration
Disable your Engiven integration to stop receiving stock and cryptocurrency gifts through your giving forms.

- In the top-left corner, click your site name then Realm. Then click .
- In the Engiven section, click Edit Status.
- Click Disable Integration.
Reconnect Engiven Integration
If you've disabled your Engiven integration, you can enable it again.

- In the Engiven section, click Edit Status.
- Click Enable Integration.
