Giving Dashboard
Contribution information by fund, payment type, date range, and age.
In the top-left corner, click your site name then Giving. Then click .
By default, the Giving Dashboard's information is based on the contributions received year-to-date, all funds, and all payment types. However, you can use the filter option to select a custom date range, one or more specific funds, dedicated gifts in memory or in honor, or certain payment types. You can click any item in one of the graphs to view the details, and you can also print Fund Summary, Fund Detail, and Envelope Extract reports.
Giving Dashboard Graph Descriptions
How to read each graph on the Giving Dashboard.
- Funds
- This pie graph displays all of the funds that received gifts during the selected time period. Click each wedge for a breakdown of which contributors gave toward each fund.
- Payment Type Summary
- This displays the summarized totals of each payment method your contributors used to give. A total number of contributions received from all payment types displays at the bottom. If you set up online giving, click Online to see each online payment option broken down further.
- Line Graph
- The line graph displays a comparison of your total monthly giving between this year and last year. If you select Include pending and future gifts in totals in this dashboard's filter, your contributors' scheduled gifts also display on this graph. Click each data point for a breakdown of which contributors gave that month.
- Total Giving by Age
- Customize this graph to organize age groups the way you want them, and review the total amount each age group contributed. Click a bar in the graph for a breakdown of which contributors gave within a specific group.
- Average Gift by Age
- Customize this graph to organize age groups the way you want them, and review the average amount each age group contributed. Click a bar in the graph for a breakdown of which contributors gave within a specific group.
Giving Dashboard Filter Descriptions
- Date Range
- Only contributions given within the range you select will display on the dashboard.
- Fund
- Select any number of funds to include their gifts in the dashboard list. If you don't select specific funds, the dashboard displays gifts from all funds.
- Scheduled Gifts
- This includes any scheduled gifts that are currently pending or are scheduled to recur in the future. These gifts have not fully processed yet.
- Age Range
- Select the demographic of contributors that you want to see. Contributors whose profiles don't contain a birth date will only display if you select All Givers or No Age.
- Payment Type
- All payment types are selected by default. Clear the ones you don't want to include when you view and print.
