Sync Online Gifts

If your online contributions fail to sync, you can manually force them to sync.

When you view your list of contributions, any that haven't synced with your ChMS display a warning. Click the batch number, and sync them manually.
  1. In the top-left corner, click your site name then Giving. Then click Contributions.
  2. Click Processed.
  3. If you see a yellow warning, click the batch number associated with it.
  4. Click Sync Transactions.
  5. To confirm, click Sync Transactions again.
All transactions within that batch that weren't synced will. Any transactions that were already synced are left alone.

What Prevents Gifts from Syncing?

Contributions may not sync right away and require intervention from you for a couple of reasons. If you run into any problems, investigate these causes based on when syncing issues occur.

Are the credentials correct? If a failure happens immediately, it could be that the Program ID or API credentials are either missing or incorrect. Check your connection to make sure all entered identifiers match those in MinistryPlatform.

Is there an update? Rarely, you may sync contributions while MinistryPlatform updates. If this happens, Giving attempts to resync contributions for up to 72 hours in which they will not display as failed. If, after that 72-hour period, your contributions are unable to sync, a delayed failure occurs.
