Add a Gather Space

Create a new space that can be requested for events.

  • You must be an administrator to perform this task.
A space is a place that individuals can request for an event, such as the Main Sanctuary or Youth Room. You can add new spaces to Gather and provide information for each space such as a description, location, and capacity.

You can also add tags to help organize your spaces, and select users who will receive notifications when the space is in use.

  1. Click Spaces in the main menu.
  2. Click + Add Space.
  3. Enter the space's name.
  4. Select a location for the space from the Location drop-down menu.
  5. Enter a description and maximum capacity for the space.
  6. Select whether this space is available to book.
  7. To add tags:
    1. Click +Add in the Tags section.
    2. Select tags from the drop-down menu. You can select more than one tag at a time.
    3. If you need to create a new tag, click +Add Tag, enter the name of the tag, then click Add.
    4. Click Save.
  8. If you want to notify individuals when the space is in use:
    1. Click +Add in the Space Notifications section.
    2. Select individuals from the drop-down menu. You can select more than one individual at a time.
    3. Click Save.
  9. Click Save Space.
