View and Manage Event Categories in Gather

You can view, add, and delete categories for events.

You must be an administrator to perform this task.
By creating an event category, you can organize events based on ministry areas or other categories that your ministry uses.
Note: You can also use the calendar search to filter on categories that are associated with events.
  1. Click Settings in the main menu.
  2. Click the Event Categories tab.
    1. You can view all categories on this tab.
    2. To create a new category, click +Add Category, enter the category's name, then click Add.
    3. To delete a category, click next to the category's name, then click Yes to confirm.
