Post a Photo to One or More Group Newsfeeds
Share a photo or a gallery with one or more groups that you lead.
Before anyone can create content on a group's newsfeed, group communication must be enabled for the entire ministry area the group belongs to, and then within the group itself.
Note: To resize a photo, edit the image outside of Connect App first, then upload it. You cannot resize an image while uploading it to the newsfeed.
- In the top-left corner, click your site name then Connect. Then click Groups.
- Click the group's name.
- To add a photo, click Send Communication and click Create a Photo Post.
- If you are a leader of more than one group, you can post to multiple groups at once. Turn Post to multiple groups that you lead on then select the groups, and click Next.
- Select the image you want to post.
- Enter a caption below the image.
- To schedule the photo to show on the newsfeed in the future, select Schedule Post, then click the text in the Schedule Date section to select a day and time.
- If you want to add another photo to the gallery, click Add more photos.
- To pin the post at the top of the group newsfeed, click the pin icon in the top right corner.
- To turn comments on or off, click Allow Comments.
- Click Post.
