Print Flex Statements -No Gifts

How do I print flex statements for contributors who did not make gifts during the month?

  • Products affected: Contributions

  • Versions affected: 11.0 and above

You'll need to create a search for contributors with no gifts for the selected date range. Then use the search results and include Zero MTD on the flex statement:

  1. Under Searches and Reports, click Searches.
  2. Under Search On, click All records.
  3. Under Include Records That, click Meet Criteria for All Field Areas (And).
  4. Under Search Output, click Matching Individuals.
  5. Click New Search.
  6. Double-click Gifts.
  7. Under Search Type, select Has no Gifts.
  8. Under Posting Period, enter dates in the From and To fields.
  9. Under Filter Values, select the Fund or leave blank to include all funds.
  10. Click OK, then Process.
  11. Click OK, then Close.
  1. Under Searches and Reports, click the Reports tab.
  2. In the drop-down list, select the appropriate module (Contributions) and click Go.
  3. Expand Statements.
  4. Select Flex Statement.
  5. Enter the From and To dates and Pledge To Date.
  6. Click Customize.
  7. Under Records, select Include if Zero This Period.
  8. Under Search Results, select Use Last Search.
  9. Select any other desired options and click Preview.

For versions 10.6 and below:

  1. Under Searches and Reports, click Searches.
  2. Under Search On: click All Records.
  3. Under Include Records That: click Meet Criteria for All Field Areas (And).
  4. Under Search Output Flag: click Matching Individuals.
  5. Click New Search, then double-click Gifts.
  6. Under Search Type, select Has no Gifts.
  7. Under Period, select By Date Range.
  8. Enter dates in the Beginning Date and Ending Date fields.
  9. Under Filter Values, select the Fund or leave blank to include all funds.
  10. Click OK, then Process.
  11. Click OK, then Close.
  1. Under Searches and Reports, click the Reports tab.
  2. In the drop-down list, select the appropriate module (Contributions) and click Go.
  3. Expand Statements.
  4. Select Flex Statement and click Customize.
  5. In the Select information by: field, select Monthly.
  6. Under Report Options, select Include if Zero MTD.
  7. Under Search Results, select Use Last Search.
  8. Select any other desired options and click Preview.
