External Exception EEDFADE

When printing Contributions reports in transaction order instead of envelope number order, this error displays:

External exception EEDFADE error.

  • Versions affected: Multiple Versions

It's possible the correct printer is not selected. First, ensure that the correct printer is selected along with all printer defaults.Next, delete the .net and .lck files and clear the user directories.

  1. Under Searches and Reports, click Printer Setup.
  2. In the Printer drop-down list, select the correct printer.
  3. Click OK.
  4. On the main People or Financial Suite menus, click Printer Setup.
  5. Select the default options, then click OK.
  6. Click Exit.
  7. Select the desired user name, then click Remove All Listed Files.
  8. When the confirmation message displays, click Yes.
  9. Click Clear User Directories.
  10. Click Close.
  11. When the confirmation message displays, click Yes.
  12. Click Search, and Delete.
  13. Click Delete .Net and .Lck Files.
  14. Exit ACS. If using the network version of ACS, make sure that everyone exits all ACS Desktop products.
