Duplicated Names on Special Mailings Reports

This troubleshooting guide provides a solution for the issue where all names are duplicated on Special Mailing reports. The guide covers the affected products and versions, and provides a step-by-step remedy involving the use of maintenance utilities and a People backup.

All names are duplicated on Special Mailing reports.

  • Products affected: Special Mailings

  • Versions affected: Any

Back up People data, then perform maintenance utilities.

  1. Log in using your ACS user name and password.
  2. Under Data Options, select People Data Backup.
  3. Optional: Under Additional Options, select Verify Backup.
  4. Under Configuration, note the Backup Destination Directory. To change the location, click Lookup.
  5. Click Backup.
  6. In the Select Datasets window, clear any datasets you do not want to back up. We recommend backing up all datasets in each backup in case your data needs to be repaired, but if you include pictures, the backup may be very large.
  7. Click OK.
