Top Stub Not Printing on Payroll Checks

When printing payroll checks, the top stub of the payroll check does not display when printed.

  • Products affected: Payroll

  • Versions affected: Any

First, confirm that the correct printer displays in Printer Setup, with all four default print option selected. Or, try another printer.

If this doesn't resolve the issue, create a new check template or reinstall the print driver.

  1. Under Advanced Tools click the Settings tab.
  2. In the drop-down list, select Payroll and click Go.
  3. Click Check Layout Design.
  4. Select the Bank you want to associate with your new layout.
  5. Click Select Template, then click Add.
  6. Select one of the default templates or a user-defined template, then click OK.
  7. Enter a template Description.
  8. To use the new template as the default for the selected bank, click OK. To keep the current default template for this bank, click Cancel.
