The error "DBISam Engine error in awgesec.dll" may occur due to inconsistencies or corruption in the payroll data, presence of .net and .lck files, or cluttered user directories. These issues can interfere with the proper functioning of the payroll check printing process.

To resolve this issue, reset payroll, delete the .net and .lck files, and clear user directories.

  1. On the main Financial Suite menu, click the Transaction tab.
  2. In the drop-down list, select Payroll Checks and click Go.
  3. Click Reset Payroll.
  4. If there are unposted checks, a confirmation message displays. Click Yes to continue. This clears everything in the Payroll Run except for the timesheet entries, and you must reprocess Payroll.

  2. Click Delete .Net and .Lck Files.
  3. Click Search > Delete.
  4. When the confirmation message displays, click Yes.
  5. Click Close.
