Post Transactions button is Unavailable

The Post Transactions button may become unavailable if there are unposted transactions for a different posting period or entered under a different user name. This guide provides solutions to resolve this issue.

The Post Transactions button is unavailable, and there are transactions that have not posted.

  • Products Affected: General Ledger

  • Versions Affected: Any

Unposted transactions may be from a different posting period or entered by another user. If transactions are from a different posting period, identify the period and adjust the Post Month/Year accordingly. If transactions were entered by a different ACS user, log in as that user to post the transaction.

  1. On the Financial Suite menu, click the Transactions tab.
  2. In the drop-down list, select General Ledger Transactions and click Go.
  3. On the General Ledger Posting Menu, click Add/Edit Transactions.
  4. Under Posting Period, click All Periods.
  5. All unposted transactions and posting periods display.
  6. Click Close.

  3. On the General Ledger Posting Menu, click Post Transactions.
  4. Change the Post Month/Year to the posting period the transactions are for.
  5. Click Begin Post.
