Post Transactions button is Unavailable
The Post Transactions button may become unavailable if there are unposted transactions for a different posting period or entered under a different user name. This guide provides solutions to resolve this issue.
The Post Transactions button is unavailable, and there are transactions that have not posted.
Products Affected: General Ledger
Versions Affected: Any
Unposted transactions may be from a different posting period or entered by another user. If transactions are from a different posting period, identify the period and adjust the Post Month/Year accordingly. If transactions were entered by a different ACS user, log in as that user to post the transaction.

- On the Financial Suite menu, click the Transactions tab.
- In the drop-down list, select General Ledger Transactions and click Go.
- On the General Ledger Posting Menu, click Add/Edit Transactions.
- Under Posting Period, click All Periods.
- All unposted transactions and posting periods display.
- Click Close.
- On the Financial Suite menu, click the Transactions tab.
- In the drop-down list, select General Ledger Transactions and click Go.
- On the General Ledger Posting Menu, click Post Transactions.
- Change the Post Month/Year to the posting period the transactions are for.
- Click Begin Post.
