Booking Revenue

Booking revenue originates from a won opportunity via the sales process in Salesforce. The focus at ACST to understand how the sale will impact subscription revenue or Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR). Booking revenue can also include a one time fee in the form of a Setup Fee for the product being sold.

The value does not take into account any billing exceptions related to time (if the client receives 6 months free the revenue will be recognized as the amount the client will pay in the future).

It does take into consideration a discount not bound by time (A $100 sale discounted to $95 without an expiration date will be recognized as $95 of Booking Revenue).
