Customize and Preview E-mail Statements

After you have a Constant Contact account linked to your ACS software, you can customize the E-mail Statement.

Once you customize and preview the statement, the Email Statements Detail report displays.

On this report, you can see:

  • The names of customers who will receive a statement
  • The email address where the statement is sent.
  • The balance for each customer.
  • Any errors that might occur (the Error column will display if a customer is missing an email address or there's a duplicate email address. The statement won't be sent to those customers until their email address issues are corrected).

We recommend printing this report to verify the information is correct.

  1. Under Generate Reports, click the Reports tab.
  2. In the drop-down list, select Accounts Receivable and click Go.
  3. In the upper sidebar, expand Statements, then select E-Mail Statement.
  4. Click Customize. The Customize E-Mail Statement window displays.
  5. On the Options tab, select your Report Options, Customer Options, Transaction Options, as well as set custom fields for Constant Contact.
  6. After you set the Constant Contact custom fields, click Manage Accounts. The Select Account window displays.
  7. Select a Constant Contact account, and click OK.
  8. Click Preview. The E-mail Statements Detail window displays.
  9. After you verify the statement information, click Close.
Once you've verified the information, you can send your statements in Constant Contact.
