Rearrange Your Chart of Accounts
Click and drag subheadings and core accounts to reorganize them.
- You must have accounting administrator permissions to perform this task. See Accounting Roles and Permissions for more information.
Subheadings and core accounts must remain contained within the primary heading they're assigned to. For example, all cash accounts are assets by default and can only be organized within the Assets heading.
- In the top-left corner, click your site name then Accounting. Then click .
- Point to the subheading or core account you want to move, and it will be highlighted. Or, to move a group of core accounts under the same subheading, select each checkbox beside the ones you want to move.
- Click and drag the subheading or core account(s) under the appropriate heading or subheading.
