HeadMaster 11.5.1.24 Release Notes
Released November 5, 2026
HeadMaster 11.5.1.24 includes the following enhancement:
Attaching Medical and Immunization Documents
You can now attach documents, such as immunization records, allergy lists, or a doctor's note, to students' immunization records and to medical incidents in HeadMaster. This keeps the paperwork with the record, so you don't have to look for it in a separate file or folder.
In Students, the Immunizations tab now has an Immunization Documents section. Click Attach to add a document. You can attach multiple documents to each student. Each document lists its Description, Date Entered, Entered By, and Notes. To open a document, select it and click View. To remove one, click Delete.
In Medical Incidents, the incident window now has a Medical Document section. Click Attach to add a document to the incident (one document per incident), View Document to open it, or Delete to remove it. The section shows who attached the document and when. In the Medical Incidents list, a paperclip icon displays next to incidents that have a document attached, and the Medical Attachment panel shows whether a document is attached to the selected incident.
When you click View or View Document, the document opens in the View file window in HeadMaster. These file types preview there: .pdf, .htm, .html, .rtf, .txt, .log, .csv, .xml, .json, .ini, .pas, .sql, .md, .bmp, .gif, .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .tif, .tiff, .wmf, and .emf.
You can attach other file types too, such as Word (.doc, .docx) and Excel (.xls, .xlsx) files, but they don't preview in HeadMaster. To open one, click Open with default application in the View file window.
To get started, in Students, open a student's record and click the Immunizations tab. For medical incidents, on the Main Menu, click Medical Incidents, and then open or add an incident.
