Create A New Realm Account
How do I create a new Realm account?
To create a new Realm account, you will need:
- An email address
- A password that meets the Realm password requirement
- Assistance from an administrator or staff member
Depending on how your administrator set up Realm, there are two ways to create a new account. Contact an administrator or staff member for information on whether you need Realm invite or if you can request an account from the Realm website.
Realm Invite
If your administrator has set up Realm to require invites, an administrator or staff member can send an online Realm invite to your email address. This email message includes a link that you must click to activate your Realm account.
After clicking the link, you can enter a password and create an account. Once you have an account, you can sign in to Realm using your account's email address and password. For more information, see: Sign in to Realm using your Email Address.
Request Account
If your administrator has enabled member account creation, an administrator or staff member can provide the URL to the onrealm.org website where you can request an account.
To begin, click the Sign Up button on the website the administrator or staff member provided.
Then, enter your information into the Request Account form and click Continue.
Once you've submitted this form, an email will be sent to the email address you used to sign up for the Realm account. If your account request needs to be approved by an administrator or staff member before you receive an email, you will see this on the confirmation screen.
The email will include a link that you must click to finish creating your account. Once you have an account, you can sign in to Realm using your account's email address and password. For more information, see: Sign in to Realm using your Email Address.
