Contact Names and Electronic W-2, W-2c, W-3, and W-3c Filing
The Social Security Administration (SSA) now requires Employer Contact Name, Employer Contact Email, and Employer Contact Phone Number for W-2, W-2c, W-3, and W-3c forms.
To comply, we have updated our forms W-2 and W-2c so you can enter your contact name. You can enter or update your email address and phone number in Add/Edit Datasets.
Your contact name, email, and phone now display on the Validation Report, and if you do not include these fields, your Tax E-file Transmit will fail.
