Test a Contributor's Email Address
After adding or editing an e-mail address, send a test e-mail message to verify that the address you entered is correct.
- Under Manage Records, click the People tab.
- In the drop-down list, select View/Edit Individual and click Go .
- In the Find Person window, select the individual and click View/Edit.
- On the Contact Information tab, under E-mail Addresses, click Edit.
- If more than one address is listed, select the one the contributor wants to use for statements, then click Send E-mail.
- An e-mail message window displays. Enter "Do not reply" in the Subject line and click Send. If you do not receive a bounce notification, the e-mail address is valid.
