Create Custom Fields

Build a custom field you want your participants to know or answer regarding a trip.

  • You must be a Go Method admin to do this.
Get to know your participants better with custom fields. For example, if you plan on ordering custom t-shirts for all those attending an international mission trip, you can create a custom field asking your participants to select their t-shirt size so that you know what sizes to order when you make your t-shirts.
  1. In the top menu, click Events > Custom Fields .
  2. Click the New Custom Field button.
  3. Enter a Custom Field Name/label.

  4. In the Type drop-down list, select the format for collecting answers.
  5. Optional: If you selected Multi-Choice or Single-Choice, enter the possible choice(s) in the Answer Choices Field. By default, these choices are set to active. You can return to mark a choice "Inactive" if something changes.
  6. Click Save.

Now that you've set up custom fields, you'll be able to add these to your applications and report on this data.
