Tax Forms

Form 941 now accommodates the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) extension. The IRS has included many additional fields to Form 941 to report sick and family leave pay after March 31, 2021. Sick and family leave information is automatically entered through Payroll, but you must enter information about qualified health plan expenses, COBRA, and collective bargained agreements yourself, if applicable. The following fields are now added (take a deep breath):

  • 5a Taxable social security wages— Total wages, including qualified sick and family leave pay for any leave taken after March 31, 2021

  • 11d-11f— Accommodates the following:
    • Nonrefundable portion of credit for qualified sick and family leave wages for leave taken after March 31, 2021
    • Nonrefundable portion of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA)
    • Number of individuals who are provided COBRA
  • 13e-13f— Accommodates the following:
    • Refundable portion of credit for qualified sick and family leave wages for leave taken after March 31, 2021
    • Refundable portion of COBRA premium assistance credit
  • 18b— Credit retention for a recovery startup business
  • 23— Qualified sick leave wages for leave taken after March 31, 2021
  • 24— Qualified health plan expenses allocated to qualified sick leave wages
  • 25— Amounts under certain, collectively bargained agreements allocated to qualified sick leave
  • 26— Qualified family leave wages for leave taken after March 31, 2021
  • 27— Qualified health plan expenses allocated to qualified family leave wages
  • 28— Amounts under certain, collectively bargained agreements allocated to qualified family leave

General Settings

Allow individuals to add their own family members to their profiles. Now administrators can control if individuals can add family members to their profiles. When on the Family Positions tab, you'll see the permission to add family members. By default, this option is on. When turned on, only head and spouse family positions are able to add family members. For the other family positions, this option will not show up on their profiles.

Integrate Constant Contact with Realm. In an upcoming release, you'll be able to sync contact information between Realm and one or more Constant Contact accounts.

Use a mobile device to check into events and serving opportunities. Soon, you can enable mobile check-in for events, groups, and teams. Using the Realm Connect app, check yourself and your family in to in-person and virtual events.
