Volunteer for a New Role from the Newsfeed

Volunteers can express interest in a role from the Newsfeed.

Team leaders may create a recruitment post on the Newsfeed about roles that are needed for their teams. You can express your interest in those opportunities from the Newsfeed post. Opportunities have a Match rating that's indicated by a number of stars. This shows how closely the opportunity matches your skills and interests.
  1. Click Community > Communications > News.
  2. In the opportunity recruitment post, click I'm Interested.
  3. Select the roles, then click Submit Your Interest.
  4. To see the roles you've expressed interest in, go to your Serving page, then click the Overview tab.

    Set Your Serving Preferences

    While you're waiting for a response from a team leader, you can set your serving preferences for the roles you've expressed interest in. On the Overview tab, click the ellipsis icon next to the role's name, then click Edit to make these changes.
