Put Your Group Into Recess

Put the group into recess to cancel group events temporarily.

Only primary meetings will be canceled when you put your group into recess. If you have other events scheduled, it will not automatically cancel them. You will also be able to schedule additional, non-primary events during the recess.

  1. Locate the group.
  2. On the group's Info tab, click Edit Info.
  3. Scroll to the Settings section and click Add recess period.
  4. Enter a date range for the recess.
  5. Click Save. Five days before the recess begins, members of the group will be emailed the recess dates and told that meetings are canceled during that period. Five days before the end of the recess, members will be sent a reminder email that includes the date, time, and location of the next regular meeting.
