Enable Text Messaging

You can enable text messaging to allow people who are opted in to receive notifications by text.

Note: Due to changes by our texting provider, registration for new texting plans is temporarily unavailable. Please check back later.
An administrator can choose to enable text messaging for your church. You select which groups and teams to enable texting for, and when the group or team leader sends an Inbox message, people who are opted in will be notified. Text messaging requires a subscription, but you can select the number of texts and the cost that best fits your church.
  1. In the top-left corner, click your ministry hub then Realm. Then click Settings > Text Messaging.
  2. Click Enroll Now.
  3. On the Add Ministry Area/Group tab, in the Search groups and ministry areas... drop-down, select the groups or ministry areas to enable text messaging.
  4. On the Add Serving Team tab, enter a serving team name in the Search serving teams... drop-down menu, and select the team to enable text messaging.
  5. From the Select a subscription drop-down menu, select the subscription package.
  6. Click Activate Text Messaging.
  7. Check the box to agree to the Terms of Service.
  8. Click Confirm.
