A payment merchant is a payment provider, such as Vanco, that is associated with your account. When your participants register for a trip or event or receive funding for an event, online transactions are handled by the payment merchant.
You can use multiple payment providers in Go Method. This is helpful for if you want to use one payment provider for donation-based trips and another payment provider for payment-based trips - just select the payment provider you want to use for a trip when you create the trip. You do not need to use the same payment provider for each payment entry. You can collectively use any current Go Method payment providers to create the payment accounts you need to succeed.
